A place for serious music study in a one-on-one environment that is conducive to exploring the depth and range of your creativity and talent. Lessons cover a wide range of styles and topics, all dependent on the student’s interests and goals. All students are taught the basics of music and the instrument in various musical styles. Those who are interested beyond the basics are welcome to explore improvisational techniques, writing and arranging and advanced theory and stylistic techniques.
Guitar, bass guitar, writing, arranging & theory lessons are taught by Steve DeMott.
Steve is a ‘92 alumnus of Berklee College of Music, where he was a guitar principal while majoring in Songwriting. While at Berklee Steve also spent a good deal of time in the Berklee Studios filling in on sessions on both guitar and bass.
Steve’s approach is low-pressure but with high standards, and the results are real; a firm musical education in a fun environment. Some of his students have even gone on to study at his alma mater, Berklee College of Music.
